Sauer

Founder Herbert Sauer was a competitive shooter – at a time when special shooting sportswear was unknown. He created his own shooting jackets and shooting trousers. The first prototypes of Sauer shooting sportswear were therefore sewn by his wife, a seamstress.

Founded by the Sauer family in 1975. The company registered numerous patents for innovations and improvements, making a significant contribution to the functionality of the shooting sportswear of today. Accessories include the “button-buddy”, which makes it so much easier to button up a shooting jacket and the shoe sole tree developed specially for shooting shoes and boots.

The Sauer company is still a family business and a true partner to shooters. The Sauer team operates a service stand at all major international shooting events and is therefore always on hand to support shooters.
