J. G. Anschütz GmbH & Co. KG is a firearms manufacturer based in Ulm, Germany, that makes rimfire and centerfire rifles rifles(.17, .22, and 30-06 caliber, and .177 air rifles and air pistols) for target and competition shooting. Founded in 1856, their rifles are used by many competitive shooters participating in the ISSF 10m Air rifle, 50 m Rifle prone and three position events at the Summer Olympics. Their rifles are also used for the Biathalon event in the winter Olympics.
J. G. Anschütz company is also the major shareholder of the Austrian target firearms manufacturer Steyr Sportwaffen GmbH.
